Funders
The Submitter can provide zero or more funders using a Crossref Funder Registry (FundRef) DB type-ahead lookup.
Important: This question is deprecated. It cannot be added to new journal configurations. Use the Is this research supported by funding? question instead.
The last option in the type-ahead is always Use [typed value] as your funder to permit the submitter to add funders that aren’t present in the Funder Registry DB.
If this question is present, the submitter must complete it (it cannot be made optional). The submitter can indicate that No funding was received … as appropriate.
