Submission Requirements

Configure the submission requirement questions for a journal.

Before you begin

Submission requirement questions must be configured for your Author Portal platform from the Questions tab of the Admin Tool.

About this task

Use the Submission Requirements tab to specify which submission requirement questions are included in a journal configuration. You cannot create new questions from this tab.

Once submission requirement questions are added to a journal configuration, you can specify which questions should be associated with each article type from the Article Types tab.

Procedure

  1. Click Submission Requirements on the Edit journal screen.
  2. To add a question to the journal, click Add.
    1. In the Add question to journal window, click Use question under each question to add to the journal.
      The questions displayed in this window are the available ones that have not yet been added to the journal.
  3. To delete a question that is already added to the journal, click Remove to the right of the question.
    Deleting a question removes it only from the journal you are editing, and not from the pool of available questions in the Questions tab in the Admin Tool.
    You can re-add a deleted question by clicking Add.
