Create New Journal Versions

To update a publication's published configuration, you must first create a new version of the configuration.

Before you begin

You must have Super User, Tenant Super User, or Journal Administrator permissions to edit a journal.

Procedure

  1. From the Journals tab of the Admin Dashboard, click Actions for the required published journal and then Create new version.
    An editable version of the journal configurations page opens.

    A flag displays next to the Actions dropdown in the journals list, showing that a new set of configurations are being worked on, but not published.

  2. Edit the journal configuration details as needed and click Save changes where applicable.
    Note: The edits in this configuration version will take effect on the live site only after they have been published from the Danger zone.
