About Creating Journals

Create a new journal or copy an existing one.

There are two ways to create a journal in Author Portal. From the Journals tab of the Admin Tool (https://{publisher}.atyponrex.com/admin/journals) do one of the following:
  • Click Create journal to create a new journal with no preset configuration.
  • Select an existing journal and click Actions, then Copy journal. By default, the new copy will have the same configuration as the existing journal. However, after creating the copy you can edit and change its configuration, if necessary.
Note: If you will be creating multiple journals that will have the same or similar configuration, consider first creating a journal to use as a template, configure it as required, and then create the subsequent journals as copies of the template.
