About Journal and Society Banners
You are not required to provide journal and society logos, which are referred to as banners. However, we recommend that you supply a journal banner, at minimum.

        Journal and Society Banner Guidelines
        Color Selection
        Colors in Author Portal are provided as HEX values. Photoshop, Illustrator, and most other image-editing applications will include HEX values in the color picker. Several web-based tools for converting common color values into HEX are also available.

You are not required to provide journal and society logos, which are referred to as banners. However, we recommend that you supply a journal banner, at minimum.

Consider the following example of a journal-branded header, and its configurable areas:

If you don't provide a journal banner, the journal name will appear in plain text in the selected text color and the society banner will not display.
