Troubleshooting Publication Errors
If a journal is not correctly configured, this will lead to errors when attempting to publish the configuration from the Publish Changes tab.

        Troubleshooting Publication Errors

        External id shouldn't be empty
        File designation is required: Main Document - PDF
        Free Multiple Choice question options should not be empty
        Minimum / Maximum keywords of research topics question should be less then whole list of topics
        Preferred Editor question should contain at least one editor role
        Questionnaire for article type '{article type}' and kind 'PreSubmission' should have at least one question
        Questionnaire for article type '{article type}' and kind 'Submission' should have at least one question
        There are not enough editors to implement the preferred editor question
        The site name already used by other published journal

      You can copy published or draft journals.

      You can view the configuration details of a published journal that display on the Basic information tab by clicking View published.

Why it happens

In the Edit journal > Additional Information tab, all the list items for the Configurable multiple choice question have been disabled.

Procedure

Do one of the following:

Enable at least one list item.
Remove the question.
