        Troubleshooting Publication Errors

        At least one list item option is required for the Configurable multiple choice question
        External id shouldn't be empty
        File designation is required: Main Document - PDF

        Minimum / Maximum keywords of research topics question should be less then whole list of topics
        Preferred Editor question should contain at least one editor role
        Questionnaire for article type '{article type}' and kind 'PreSubmission' should have at least one question

Why it happens

In the Edit journal > Additional Information tab, the list items for the Configurable multiple choice question are blank.

Make sure that no list items are left blank.
