Author Portal Transfer Administrator-Initiated Import User Guide
This user guide includes workflow instructions about how Administrator users with the Transfer Admin role can use the Author Portal Transfer service within a Tenant's portfolio of journals to manually import a rejected manuscript from any journal using ScholarOne Manuscripts and transfer it to any journal using Author Portal (Author Portal).

    Users with a Transfer Admin role or a Tenant Super User role with the appropriate permissions assigned can access the Author Portal Transfer application.

Common Author Queries / FAQ

Author asks you to resend the automated email notification to complete their submission

Transfer Admins can provide any author asking for the notification to be resent with a direct link to their pending submission. All submissions transferred into Author Portal will adhere to the following URL format:

https://{publisher code}.atyponrex.com/submissionBoard/{Author Portal ID}

For example:

https://egp.atyponrex.com/submissionBoard/5e4f5a2d-1e7d-4957-953f-38e633bbef4b

Author changes their mind and wishes to cancel or not complete their transfer and asks you to delete their draft submission

Transfer Admins can direct authors who wish to delete their submission to do the following:

Log in to Author Portal.
Click My Submissions > Delete for the required submission.
