What does confirming mean and how do I confirm the different parts of my manuscript?
After uploading your manuscript files, Author Portal attempts to identify the different parts of your manuscript, e.g., your Title, Abstract, etc., and then present them to you to confirm they were correctly identified or not. If they’re correct, click Confirm to move to the next step.
If they're not correct, click Something is wrong... and click and drag to select the appropriate part of your manuscript.
If you see an error in your manuscript that needs to be fixed, follow the steps included in section What should I do if something is wrong or missing within my manuscript?.
Should I include headings in my text selection?
You don’t need to include section headings, such as Summary or Abstract, in your selections. For each step, only select the actual content of that section.
